TORONTO, March 27/CNW/ – RentSeeker Inc., the multi-residential housing industry’s leader in online marketing of apartments for rent, today announced that it will provide exclusive corporate video production services to Blue Ridge Realty Management. The service, which will complement RentSeeker’s ongoing social media and internet listing initiatives for Blue Ridge, will engage prospective residents quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Chaim Rivlin, President and CEO of RentSeeker, explains, “Video marketing offers incredible value for real estate owners marketing their rental properties. YouTube, one of the sources where we host our videos, is the second-largest search engine next to its owner, Google. As a result, videos rank favourably in search results helping drive qualified traffic and leads to owners. In just moments, a landlord can advertise a building’s benefits as well as perks of the surrounding neighbourhood.”

The Blue Ridge corporate video will feature an overview of the company and its management mandate as well as a selection of properties and a clearly defined call to action. “The majority of prospective residents start their searches online, which is why Blue Ridge has decided to focus attention on video marketing,” says Mike Bolahood, Owner of Blue Ridge. Adds Simone Webb, Marketing Consultant for Blue Ridge: “A print ad might be seen once or twice, but videos have the potential to be viewed thousands of times. Prospective residents want good information fast, which is why we anticipate a great response from the Blue Ridge company video.”

Expect the Blue Ridge corporate video to be optimized for search engine prominence and full of portfolio highlights, thoughtful scripting and extensive branding. It will appear on both YouTube and RentSeeker’s newly launched video website, dedicated solely to showcasing it’s property films. To continue reading click here.

TORONTO, March 21/CNW/ – Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) has officially announced the winners of its inaugural Team Up Foundation Fund. Hundreds of candidates engaged in a social media race against time to garner votes in support of their organizations, ultimately revealing four charities as the recipients.

Among the winners was Doorsteps Neighbourhood Services, a community development organization that delivers social programs and services in Toronto’s Black Creek neighbourhood. The funding will go toward The Asset-Based Youth Development Project, a partnership between Doorsteps, Greenwin, Spider Jones and the Believe to Achieve Organization, and Literature for Life.

“This was by far one of the most creative grant application processes we’ve ever taken part in and we’re ecstatic that our friends and colleagues had enough faith in us to support this cause,” explains Doorsteps’ Executive Director Morris Beckford. “This money will go a long way in helping us to reach youth from the Chalkfarm, Falstaff and greater Black Creek community who need it most.”

Adds former boxing champion and media personality Spider Jones: “With the support of a heavy-hitter organization like MLSE, we’ll be able to engage more than 200 kids in boxing, mentorship and literacy training. This is truly a milestone for our program and for this community!”

Jo Altilia, Founding Executive Director of Literature for Life, says, “Thanks to MLSE’s support, Literature for Life is looking forward to building a strong community engagement project with Doorsteps, Spider’s Web and Greenwin.”

“The boxing ring is up, Spider’s in there leading the mentorship component and Literature for Life will be running in no time,” says Eric Green, Director of Social Programming & Development for Greenwin. “We’re now coming full circle.”

The project continues to seek donations to ensure sustainability.
