On June 27th, Greenwin Inc. presented two deserving students with the Harold Green Scholarship Award…and Cursive was in attendance!
The two winners, Christian Felixandre O’Campo and Melissa Eratostene, are outstanding individuals and giving back to their community is very important to them. In September 2014 Christian will be attending Sheridan College for Performing Arts Preparation and Melissa will be attending the University of Toronto for Kinesiology/Physical Education.
Mrs. Green was so happy to present these two students with the scholarships and she shared the following heartwarming message with them:
“You are worthy recipients of the Harold Green Scholarship Award. Worthy, I know because I have read your applications and worthy because you embody Harold Green’s principles and values; values of giving back to your country and making the world a better place to live in and values which he instilled in his children. Harold had a favourite excerpt from the Talmud. The Talmud is a collection of interpretations of the Bible. It goes like this: ‘When I came into this world I did not find it desolate. As my Fathers planted for me, so shall I plant for my children.’ It is with pride and pleasure that I places these scholarships in the very deserving hands of Greenwin’s children.
Greenwin Inc. is proud of the recipients and the team is looking forward to seeing the two continue to grow and succeed.
